HEIMAT – A roadmovie BY JOHANNA AUST & LOUISE BERG HEIMAT – A ROADMOVIE is about two young swedish women who meet in Berlin by chance, and set out on a search for traces in the unknown yet familiar lands of childhood. On a journey from Scania to Lapland they dig for the answers to existential questions. They both seek and find connections with German history. No elks. No IKEA. But friendly and extraordinary characters, showing them the way home. A pleasurable roadmovie about roots, rootlessness and the meaning of life.
